I can not seem to locate where the heater fan is. What do I have to remove, etc. to locate this?

What year is truck ?
and why are you looking for the fan motor ?
Usual ' failure ' is " ballast resistor block "
up to 96 = on engine firewall , passenger side
- fastens to firewall with 2 screws
connector with 5 wires..

The truck is a 1987. The heater fan does not work it is locked up and I need to be able to locate the fan and remove it for repair or replacement.
