Checked the mileage 3-8-05 19.6 in 20 degree
weather so it will be very good in the warm
weather

My other stroker got between 20 to 25mpg depending
on how I drove it 267/305

This new one is in a 94 sport 2 wheel drive still
running the stock 92 in my 95 4X4 with all the
bolt ons getting over 20 in the cold up here

I got the 2 cranks around 3 years ago $1600 each
pistons are keith black custom the stroker kits
.com kit has a good price around $2000 I have
$6000 in my 3.58 stroked motor and over $8000 in
this one

I have no regreats about spending the money just
the stroker kit alone adds around 40 to 45hp at
the wheels nice low end improvement the local
racing team we do work for is running 4 strokers
in there off road trucks and has not lost one
yet very strong and a lot of fun

Larry,

What trans are you running with the strokers? How is it holding up to the power? How much power can the AX-15 handle?

I am running a 518 auto 2200 stall converter and
a TCI TransScat 220500 shift kit street plus
with the blocker rod and the #7 check ball removed 4.10 posi

how does it hold up well 1-2 2-3 chirp with light
throttle, I also opend up the lockup hole to .080
so it lerches foward when she locks up around 100
mph O/D will cherp at wot around 87mph very wild
its parked untill the snow is gone to hard to
drive on slipery roads had it sideways a few
times without even trying

If you nail it it will run through 1-2 2-3 and
just smoke the tires needs some traction bars
like a set of full length ladders I have a set I
had on a 72 road runner I am going to mod to fit

Top speed don't know once its barried over 110 I
have no idea how fast I am going never reved over
5500rpm in lockup yet the limiter on the ASE chip
is set at 6000rpm best guess 130 135mph but it
sure dont take long to get there

This thing is pure insanity to drive

A little insanity to inspire the sane to do insane things, like mod their truck- Moditus Insanitus. Keep up the good work. As Tim the tool man would say more power-Arghh, Arghh. I beileve a little bit of insanity is what helps to keep us sane.

92 and 97 Daks both with many mods.

Just had this truck out this last sat and popped
the radiator blew the core right out at 6000rpm
LOL

The guage only went up to 3/4 about 230 by the
time I got back but shes running wild

If a guy has the money to spare stroking the V6
is very nice the low end improvement alone is
worth the money you don't need to get totaly
carried away like I did it will run fine with
the stock cam and computer

Just curious larry,
are you using stock width v6 con rods or is the crank set up to use stroker 5.2 rods?

just trying to gather all of the details..... if the price was just a little cheaper then it would really be a good mod

being quote 2100 for the crank alone :(

5.2 rods with the wider jornal the pistons is
where the change is made the deck height to piston
dome rist pin location.

money yes first stroker droped $6000 second just
over $8000 I have no regrets they are 2 great
little V6's
stock stroke 3.31
1st one 3.58
2nd 4.0

.070 longer not much but if you do the math
3.31 239
3.58 258
4.0 291 cubic inches almost a 300 I just cant see
why chrysler did not cut the 360 or even better
a 400 or 440 than we would have had one hell of
a V6

Larry,
thanks for the reply......Did you get the rods/pistons etc as a kit or did you farm it all out as individual deals?

If it was a on time shot how much for the pistons, bearings, rods and rings?

The more I think about this the more appealing it is..... ( was planning to turbo and may still if I can figure out how to use the stock sensors to run another computer all but crank sensor are easy.....lol.... friggin crank sensor is warped....runs timing for ignition and Fuel events using a code that only dodge understands)

I plan on driving this truck into the dirt and what better way than to make a good thing better.
