Hey I ran a best time of 17.8 last night, the only car I raced was a Neon RT, sadly he won by a tad but my reaction time was crap that time, I managed a 7.9 best. Can't remember my 1/8 time and my time slips are in the truck and I'm too lazy to retrieve them.

is that 2wd? you can call urself what you want but as a "racer" ur not going to win much with a 17.8 i hope thats a 4x4 auto because i think mine will do better then 17.8 what speed was that at?
i raced a 240sx and got toasted today lol

YEAH YEAH, 1998 dodge dakota 4x2 auto, 3.55's, magnaflow muffler, have YOU raced at the track yet Blackdak? then we shall see. speed was at 75, against the neon, it wasn't too good, it was my first time so the reaction time was kinda high, and I wasn't sure about where the track ended. but i'm working on it.

never did actually race at the track but from tough estimates that sounds like about how fast my truck is on the street which is bumpy and not made fro racing...i also have 3.92
anyway even if ur faster then me ur still not a "racer"

My truck gets down in the 17.007 range
i can taste the 16's would have gotten
it but i tried to take it to far in
2nd and back fired slowin me down.

racing at the track isnt necessarily how fast you go... it's consistency.. and I'm not sure what you're talking about but, he looked pretty consistent to me...

You guys kill me. The one guy on the whole board who has never been to a drag strip buty ALWAYS b!tches about how slow his truck is has the BALLS to tell the guy who ran two 17.8's and a 17.9 that he's "not a racer??????"
LlBlackDak needs to shut his flappy trap until he can get off the f*ckin couch and get to a track. How dare you not call him a racer! In bracket racing, it is ALL about being consistent. It doesn't matter if you have a 20-second Cavalier or a 10-sec Barracuda. if you can run that number every time, you take home the money.
Sure, in a heads up racing competition, that 17-sec ET is slow. But if he can run a 17.8 all night until there are no more cars left to run, then he just took home your damn money!!
All I've got to say is, LlBlackDak needs to bring it...... Not Sing It!!

I don't know of ANY racing organization anywhere EVER that has awarded prize money or trophies for sitting at home, typing on a computer and thinking up "rough estimates" on "how fast your truck runs on the street."

My SUPER DAK. is a 5.2 RT completely custom for show and i run a 13.9...got to love a bored out 318 with 2 10lb. bottles multi. port injection of pure hell..everything shaved all white Edelbrock and MOPAR under the hood from upgraded cooling with CRY02 to 2 1/2 inch radiator from mitshimoto...all the way to the oil 0W-30 to the multi diamond spar plug and wires...and a 10" drop ...cant wait for the 2 GT35 twin turbos to get in....22lbs here i come...aiming for 11's...AS FOR A RACER DOESNT MATTER SPEED, DOESN'T MATTER LOOKS...ALL THAT MATTERS IS FUN...i still cant beat that damn lightning....maybe i should just hit him.

got 13.3 out of my 3.9 stroker kit...milled heads new fed mog valves.and springs.......roller cam roller rockers roller lifters.....nos 150 shot
