Message: I notice the rpm drop the most when i'm really on it...after it shifts into 3rd gear (roughly around 2500 rpms) it's like the rpms drop 100-200 and then i start accelorating..but you can really hear it and really feel the power loss during this time...any suggestions??

Message: Daddio,
I don't think i have TC atleast not to my knowledge. I've changed the tranny fluid and the rear end fluid and I've got K&N CAI. It's done this ever since i bought it and when i bought it everything was bone stock. I thought maybe letting it breathe a little better it would help but it didn't. Any other suggestions??

Message: Daddio,
My bad on that one...just a couple of days ago i was thinkin the same thing because i was sittin at a stop light and it was like i had my foot on the brake and i let off the clutch (if my truck was a manual) and the truck kinda lunged forward and the rpms dropped but it didn't die but it's never done anything like that before or since...but my guess is the Torque Converter.

Message: Ok...Now that i want to get a new TC does anybody know where i can get one? I want to buy new and not used cuz i don't buy used parts if it deals with my transmission cuz i've had problems with used parts in the past...I've checked Jegs and JCWhitney but they only have TC's for ford and GM. Any ideas will help.
TIA-

Message: you can get a torque converter from about anywhere, but have fun installing it, it involves removing the transmission from the motor.

Message: Jake,
I don't hear much of anything besides the engine reving up...it doesn't make any noise coming out of gear or going back into gear...it's just like it slips out and then back in...I hope it's not the tranny but i usually only have this problem when going around corners and i can only recall it doing it when i turn left.
93dak,
I don't mind pullin the tranny from the engine because i like doing this because i could possibly find something else that is wrong or maybe upgrade something else in the process (or maybe screw something else up which i don't do that much:S).
TIA-
