Message: I have a 93 Dakota 3.9 2wd with 4 speed automatic and have been looking all over for some type of ID tag to identify what trans Ive got and what fluid it uses. The dipstick indicates dexron as useable but this trans flares badly on the 1-2 upshift when cold after warmed up the shifts are all soft but it doesnt slip Fluid and filters changed often and band adjustments performed also . Help and recomendations
accepted gratefully
