 Subject: Tire size question

I've got 235/75/15 on my 98 dak cc 4x4. I want to put micky tompson baja raditals mtx that are 30 x 9.50x 15. I was wonderin if the bajas are the same size as the 235s.

almost 100% sure they're the same. Do you know where I can get a deal on those mickeys? I like them but I think they might be too much $. I'm runnin 265/75/16's on stock wheels/suspension right now. 16" wheels seem to make for a more expensive tire...damn it!

235/75/15 & 30 x 9.5x 15 are not the same size.
the 235's are 29" tall as compared to the 30x9.5x15's. the 30's should still fit thought

235/75/15's are 29 inches tall, the other ones are 30. so your speedo will be off a little bit.

Hey thanks for the input I had 30x 9.50x 15s on the truck when I bought it and my dad told me to put the 235s on it when i got new tires. I need tires again and i thought the bajas would work well.

with a "SuperChips Micro-Programmer" you can adjust your tire size and it recalibrates your speedo. plus the performance is enhanced a bit too.
