my check engine light came on the other day. my local dealer told me that my fuel cap was not on tight enough and the light was off when i left the dealership. then two days later its back on again. the engine, 3.9, is running fine, no missing or anything. does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be?

Reset the pcm or it'll go off on it's own shortly after the problem is fixed. I think after so many times of restarting with the problem fixed it goes off, not immediately after.
