Message: it would help to know the configurement of the vehicles. are you reg, CC, or QC, 4x2, 4x4, 3.7, 3.9, 4.7, 4cyl, wheel size, bed cover, speakers, grille insert, how much gas in the tank, etc. and is he 4x2 or 4x4, any mods, what color, wheel size, engine size, rear gears, have a towing hitch, spare tire, bugguard, window tint, speakers, radio, fender flares, grille insert, etc. then we might can tell you if you can take him.

Message: lol, i was just messin about all that stuff that doesn't matter. if you have the 3.9 then i'm gonna say it will be close, but he would probably win, not by much, but probably could. those jimmy's are pretty light for their size and you being a cc doesn't help. reg cab would be closer but a cc witha 3.9 will be a bit slower and with 3.55's. the guy sounds pretty confident to want to bet money, so he could have nos or something. if you have a stick shift then you better be able to drive it good. otherwise, i would just race for fun, not money. from my experience i'm gonna have to say that you will lose with what you have. but hey, i could be wrong so if you do bet on it, just don't bet something that would break your wallet. win or lose, just have fun.

Message: id say get one of those giant hood decals, those ad at least 45 horsepower to the left front fender flare. and if you get a fake hood scoop they add about 16 horse power to your floormat.

And ace...I think you'll prolly lose, but race him for the fun of it anyway. I raced my friend's stock V6 Camaro...1/4 mile he beat me by about 3/4 a car length and on the interstate I had him clear up until I hit my speed limiter and he didn't. lol

Message: Come on Josh,
Get some mods on that thing. Those "little" V6 Camaros aren't that quick. Ask my brother, he lost by a length or two to me.
As for Ace, don't bother with betting, go out and have fun! Go to the track and see what you guys can do. Driver skill has a lot to with it. I have been to a few different race schools, you'd be suprised what you can learn.
Have fun and be safe with it, not worth an injury.
