Subject: Starting Problem IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 3.9 4wd stock. This morning it was very humid and my car would not start. The engine didn't seem to do any more than turn over, no firing. I sprayed starter fluid into the air intake....no effect.
I put a small space heater near the distributor and after about an hour the truck started.
I'm thinking distributor.
Anybody else have a similar problem or sugguestions.
thanks
Kevin

Message: you probably had condensation in the distributor, good idea to replace the cap and rotor with new pieces. but nothing to big.
