I got a 89 dak 4wd 3.9 TBI. It starts, runs smooth for about a minute then starts missing then finally dies. When I restart it,it goes thru the whole cycle again? I put in a new fuel pump,distributor pickup,still no change. The oxy sensor is fairly new.The cat has been removed.I dont know what to do next? Any help will be sincerely appreciated

I had that problem with my 89 Dak. 3.9 4x4 I did the following, Replaced all plugs, Cap and rotor,I also replaced the plug wires and upgraded them 7 to 8mm. I needed them and knew they were not healthy, any way it turns out it was the oxy sensor which was around 1 year old....have you checked your vacuum lines?

Have you tried Carb. cleaner? That might help, if not maybe a carb. rebuild. Otherwise it's probably the things mentioned above
