 Subject: rough idle on hill

my truck seems to go into a rough idle for a second or 2 and then its fine when it goes onto any kind of hill, what gives. it also like seems to hold for a second or two when i give it the gas then it goes. i noticed my tranny fluid was a little low so i filled that up but could anything else be the cause of the rough idle and quick stauling on hills?

How full is the fuel tank when this happens ?
Under half ?
Possible fuel pump beginning to go bad..
If as above and worse when warmer .
Other possibility is water in tank ?
Put in some ' gas line antifreeze '
" methanol ".
The fuel pump needs to be totally immersed
in the tank for best operation { cools it }..
