Not without knowing type of leak and year/milage. This could be covered by federal emissions warranty.

just had mine replaced.the passenger side manifold warped and popped the heads off the two rear manifold bolts. 2003 dakota. tried to get the dealer to help with repairs because i dont think this should be happening. They replaced 3 bad manifolds today before i picked mine up.Dealer would not agree that it is a problem.
Cost of replacement $495 plus tax about $520

What is the deal with Dodge Dakota exhaust
manifolds breaking bolts? I understand this has
plagued Dodge for many years between 1999 and
2013. My gosh can't Dodge figure this out and
get it right for pete sakes?
I'm 63 years old...have owned many vehicles
over the years....drove many into the ground
with well over 200,000 miles on them and then
and have NEVER...EVER had a problem with broken
manifold bolts or leaking exhaust manifolds.
If this is a common problem with the Dodge
Dakota, I'm surprised they sold any Dakota's at
all.
I can't believe this was happening to every
Dakota produced. There must be some common
characteristics to how these trucks were used
in order to cause such a trend in broken
manifolds.
Were the affected vehicles trucks that were
subjected to hard use like commercial
construction vehicles that were hauling very
heavy loads day in and day out...putting extra
strain in tranny, engine and exhaust
connections for example.

I'm wondering....how many of you guys and gals
out there have put hundreds of thousands of
miles on your Dakota's and have had absolutely
zero problems with broken exhaust manifolds.
Again, I can't believe this is happening to
every Dakota between 1999 and 2013.

Didn't like the answer in the V8 forum? How many
people complain when something doesn't fail.
Exhaust manifold bolts corrode and manifolds warp.

Deal with it. Go bad mouth some other make for a
while.
