 Subject: dash gone crazey

when I start my truck and turn on the lights I hear a buzzing noise and all the gauges go to max. also the dash lites dont work, if I bang on the dash everything comes back on and works fine. anyone had a problem like this? thanks.

ha, thats actually kinda funny, but it sounds to me like you have a short in a wire or a loose ground. just get down behind there and see if you can find it by playing with the wires....thats all you can do.
