Message: Hey guys.
In this link, http://www.speedtweaks.ca/tipsandtricks.php#TPS_Mod
It tells you how to upgrade the TPS. It says to test it using the center terminal and a voltmeter.
It doesnt say however, wether to use the positive or negative side, and what to attach the other probe to. Has anyone done this before?

Message: Just put one end to negative and one to the center wire.
Most of the time u can thin up the screws a little to get ur adjustment that would lower ur risk of possible sensor damage.

Message: When you say negative are you referring to the negative terminal of the battery? Excuse my ignorance to these things but i would rather be safe then fry the whole sensor.

Message: Positive wire of multimeter to center wire; negative wire of multimeter to a good ground or negative terminal of battery. Make sure you measure it with the ignition on and the truck NOT running, otherwise I believe it trips your MIL light. Then you'll either have to clear the code or reset the PCM.

Message: It really doesn't matter which way you connect it if you have a digital metter. If you connect it backwards, it will just read negative volts instead of positive.
