Message: i have a vibration when im on the highway gets realy bad at about 80 mph and when accelerating i read it could be the driveshaft but no dents or weights missing or the u joints but all seem ok thers no play in anything cv joints seem ok im realy stumped the vibration started out small but now it actually shakes the rearview mirror its getting bad and its driving me crazy i dont think its the tires its a different kind of vibration and its not in the steering wheel but i rotated the tires anyways and no luck its still there so any ideas thanks

Message: Try this:
Write down the RPM range you are in in Drive when vibration occurs.
Test drive again, in L1/L2, at same RPM range.
If vibration persists, is driveline component (eng, trans, dshaft, rear diff) that is causing problem.
If vibration is SPEED sensitive, not RPM sensitive, is more consistent with wheel/tire problem - perhaps as simple as a thrown wheel weight (perhaps on inside of wheel), or a flat-spot on the tire (have you had any panic-stops just prior to this problem starting?)

Message: When you rotated your tires did you wash the inside of your rims clean? If you get a build up dirt and grim on the inside of your rims it could cause this. Are all the weights on your tire? maybe you need a rebalance. One more thing to check is, look for a buldge on the sidewall of your tire. If there is a weak point on your sidewall it can cause a bad vibration. good luck

Message: Could be a bent drive shaft...
Or bad u-joints... When my u-joints went bad it vibrated so bad at 75 mph that empty soda cans in cup holders would skip around.

Message: If it has a two piece driveshaft (many extended cabs) check the center support bearing.

Message: as a last ditch effort when nothing else seems to work, have your transmission end bearing checked. I had the same problem with a faulty bearing. good luck

Message: if you get the vibration at a higher speed and it doesnt seem to be u-joints you may have the same problem i had. i had a combination of 2 problems.
#1: brand new goodyear tires (10k on em) = CRAP
#2: Rear transmission mount = CRAP
After i changed those two all was well, but still vibrated after i changed the mount but less...was the tires.
