Message: anybody dropped lower gears in their ride? I've got like 3.92's in my 4x4 v6 and it's a slug. I'm thinkin' 4.11's?? (of course, after I get it running right) The 4x4 chassis is too heavy for a 6 cyl anyway, but gears are cheaper than a v8. Just want to know what gears ya'll have used and how hard it was to change.

Message: ?,
Why would you even post that?
fmxguy has quite a bit more drivertrain loss, and most likely has larger tires.
You gave no help what-so-ever
fmxguy,
Search for a post about gearing.
Crow 318 posted something about his budy insalling the 4.10's and gaining city milage, and not noticing a difference in mileage on the highway.
Also, the 3.92 to 4.11 is not alot of change for the price. You may be better off changing tire size, especially if you need new tires soon
