does anyone know if any of those oil stopleak products work? I have a small oil leak, I cant pinpoint the spot its coming from. I thought maybe if someone had any luck with a certain brand I would give it a try. thanks.

have you tried to find where the leak is coming from? personally, i'd rather fix the leak than try some stop leak. i don't think that stuff would be very good for the oiling system.

i wouldnt use those stop leak products, they are some sort of additive designed to clog the hole, but if you think about that logically...clogs holes...what do you think your oiling system is? Your pick-up, pump, crank, all a series of holes for oil...not a good idea

thanks for the info. last night I looked around a little closer,it looks like its coming from the sending oil sending unit or the dist. shaft seal.
