 Subject: Dumb question..horn??

I took my truck in several weeks ago because It wouldnt start. It turns out the a/c motor had blown and was not allowing the belt to operate correctly (duh). Anyway, a few days later I realized that my horn wasn't working and figured it to be the fuse. I replaced it and stll got nothing. I cant imagine that my horn just went out, and the fuse box under the hood has the fuse for the horn labeled as horn/ac. Could not having my a/c connected be casuing my horn to not work? Any suggestions to fix it..other than to get my a/c fixed?
newbie here..just be happy I didnt ask about the damn speed sensor.
