 Subject: overheating

i have searched the forums for something like this but with no
luck.
this weekend my 2000 v6 4X4 dak overheated and blew the
upper raditor hose off. my first guess was the theromistat but
after replacing its still over heating. im thinking water pump???
anyone with a similar prolbem
please help

IF THE THERMOSTAT DIDN'T WORK YOU'RE PROBABLY RIGHT WITH THE WATER PUMP FLUSH THE RAD OUT FIRST AND THE CHECK THE PUMP AFTER THAT
