 Subject: Smokes when in reverse

After driving for a little while I noticed some smoke when backing up. The first time I seen smoke come from around the hood the second time ways more blowin in threw the vent.It smells kinda like the burning cluch. What could it be and how do I fix?

Does your tranny leak or motor leak oil? could be droping oil on the hot exahust pipe.

The smoke is coming from the hot exhuast pipe. But would it not smoke when idling at red light? And it's on the driver side right at the joint.

So you can drive around and park some place and get out of your truck and look under it and you do not see any smoke? It only smokes when you are reverse?
