Subject: crankshaft sensor hole IP: Logged
Message: I just my clutch done on my 1996 dodge Dakota 3.9 (146,000Miles) . While inspecting the job I noticed I could see the flywheel through the half circle space where the crankshaft sensor is located.
Do you know if that is normal or do think I'm missing something?
My JBL headers cracked during the clutch job . I called JBL and they explained that the headers most likely cracked from heat so they sent me a free replacement set .

Message: I did the cranksensor mod. that everybody talks about. In order to do it you have to remove the rubber grommet that seals the sensor up with the flywheel(what you are talking about I think) It hasn't been a problem for me and this was months ago.
