Message: I have a 2002 V6 Quad cab 4x4 with a manual transmission and I'm looking to get an idea of some upgrades I can do to get some more power. I'm finding with all of the extra weight of the Quad cab and the 4x4 transfer case the truck can feel a little sluggish. I don't know if something like a cold air intake and exhaust will be enough or of there are any better ideas.
I'm also trying to find a bigger tire and wheel to put on the truck with out having to do a lift or fender flares. I have the low end 15" wheel and would just like to fill out the wheel wells better.
Any help would be appreciated.

Message: to be honest with you, if you are going to put larger wheels & tires, you are REALLY gonna be lacking power. for now change your gears before you get the larger tires or look to swap a 4.7 or 5.9 in that thing. if you do some searching on this site you will find plenty more ideas. may the horsepower gods smile upon your truck.
