I looked at my friend's "Haynes Repair Manual," it was very generic. Any recommendations?

haynes manuals are available in stores up to '99.

Watch Ebay for a year specific dealer/service manual or try to get one from Chrysler. It'll give you a lot better info for your specific truck. That's what I had to do for my '87 (one year only induction/emissions systems).

I ordered one for my truck through these guys. They have decent prices and a really good selection. It's the same manual Chrysler techs use.
