Subject: Idle lowering tips? IP: Logged
Message: Just an Idea.. Id like 2 see some varuous ways posted for Idle lowering.. And some input on just where the optimal idle should be set in RPMs. Input for guys like me that cant seem to lower their Idle would be greatly appretiated =).

Message: Non adjustable is the word, its controlled by the IAC valve in the back and the computer.
I however installed a V8 body on my V6 with a 5 speed and the idle *only* when warm and the AC not on was too high, about 1100 RPM, the IAC valve was closed, and the computer tripped the code for it thinking it was a vacum leak. So I removed the plug that covers the idle set screw and turned it down just a hair........
Ain't had a problem since :-) Not only do I get more power from the TB swap, my mileage is the same, frickin Mopar.
However if this is not your scenario, then don't touch that plug IMHO
