both are made by Daimler Chrysler,Jeep and Dodge are sister divisions of the Chrysler part of the corporation. both are 3.7 litres, both put out the same horsepower and torque, both look identical, both engines have identical looking parts with the same exact part number and are totally interchangeable from jeeps to dodges, yeah, I might be willing to say that they just might be the same, but don't quote me on that.
