Message: gasket is on the bottom of the intake, you have to remove the intake. as for telling you if thats the problem, i am not sure, i am interested to hear that as well.

Message: check your #6 injector connection. make sure it's getting the voltage it needs. also, do a compression check on all cylinders and compare readings on #6 to the others. if #6 is low that is likely the problem.

Message: a plugged cat will throw misfire codes too, and possibly cause a rough idle. i'd start there

Message: THE CAT WAS REPLACED 20,000 MILES AGO AND I
ALSO HAD THE EXHAUST PRESURE TESTED IT WAS ALL
GOOD.I HAVENT DONE A COMP TEST YET.THE PLUG LOOKS
TOO GOOD TO SUSPECT COMP,BUT I COULD BE WRONG.
HOW MUCH VOLTAGE SHOULD I SEE AT THE INJECTOR?

Message: These motors are notorios for clogging injectors, remove your fuel rail, and the #6 injector, see if there is any trash in it, then clean the fuel rail and see if that helps.

Message: I TESTED ALL SIX CYL. FOR COMPRESION.
THEY ARE NOT ALL EVEN,BUT THE BOOK SAYS
IF THE LOWEST READING IS 75% OF THE HIGHEST
READING IT SHOULD BE OK.ODLY ENOUGH THE LOWEST
READING WAS NOT THE #6 CYL. BUT THE #4 CYL.
BY PUTTING 2TSP OF OIL IN THE CYL. IT RAISED
THE COMPRESION SO I KNOW ITS NOT THE VALVES.
THIS WEEKEND I WILL BE REPLACING THE INTAKE
GASKETS AND THE PLENUM GASKET.TO ELIMINATE ANY
POSSIBLE INTAKE LEAK,AND THERE IS OIL IN THE
TB SO IM SURE THE BELLYPAN GASKET IS LEAKING.
WELL WE ARE GOING TO FIND OUT.
