Its back. I replaced the O2 sensor and that cleared the code out for a while, But i was still only getting about 13 miles to the gallon. So i figured lets try the feul filter, after all they are free at work. Now im getting under 13. Is there any way of checking for a leaky injector without a gauge?? Also, can they be rebuilt or do I have to go and get new ones. Money is an issue right now and I was wondering if it would be wise to pull them from a junkyard engine or is that asking for trouble.

After sitting overnight , just check to see if
any pressure left in the fuel rail .
Undo the cap and press the valve - just like a
tire valve.
Better to get new injectors..if bad..

OK. Truck sat for about 10-11 hours and I checked the valve. Nothing came out whatsoever. I dont know if its supposed to after that length of time.

I definatly have a problem. also, can someone define "pressure"

I know that when I changed the fuel filter, loosening the clamps shot it everywhere, thats my idea of presure.

When i push the little nipple in, it just drips out, even if its just seconds after shutdown

hmm...
