Okay, make a long story short, I installed those new LED taillight bulbs and tried them, not bright at all during braking. But when I switched on my parking lights I heard a fuse blow and I didn't have parking or fogs, so I replaced it and my Check Engine Light stayed on. My code was P0499 and I looked it up at OBD-II and it gave me this "Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve Control Circuit High" what is this? I know its with emissions, but could a fuse do that? I mean it was just the parking one that blew and I replaced it. Any Help is greatly honored.

it might just be a fluke that your check engine light came on at the same time you blew your fuse. the emissions system, computer, and tail lights are not on the same circuit and not hooked in with your brake lights. so you should be fine, but i dont know what that code means, i would reset and go from there.

Thanx, it turned off the light, but now my truck is running like crap, does not want to take off, it jumps and drops, like if I'm playing with the throttle, and today my engine light was blinking during it and stop after the truck stop jumping. And when I turn the key on and watch the engine light, it blinks, in the manual, it states that its not ready for emission testing. So that code P0499 is correct, since I went to OBD-II website and it gave me the problem "Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve Control Circuit High" So I am going to take it in. Weird considering its an 04 and only has 4k on it. I had to take it in before for the left bank running rich. If anyone can break down that nonsense of talk and let me know what it means. Thanx for you time.

Try taking the gas cap off and then putting it back on.

Took it in, won't get a call until tomorrow, they're that busy with all the recalls for ball joints. Thanx for you help. What is taking off the gap cap going to do? Besides looking like an idiot.

Emission problems are supposed to be covered for at least 100,000 miles so I would let the dealer fix it.

Crawl under the drivers door and look at the two rubber elbows coming from the evap canister, make sure that they are not split or torn.
