i am not looking for exact figures but how much does a GenIII Regular Cab V6 Manual 4x2 weight? if you have a figure can you tell me some of the major (heavy) mods you have done. Like tonneau cover, full tank of gas, spare tire on, your butt in the seat, or tool box.

Just trying to get an idea of how much this fat thing weight.

I'm not sure how much an RC weighs, but if I am not mistaken, my 2002 CC weighs about 4500 lbs, so I'd guess the RC weighs right around 2 tons or so. Yeah, not real helpful, but it's better than no answer. :)

Current mods: A MUFFLER. That's it. (For now.)
Future mods: Tonneau cover
Underdrive pulleys
Removal of clutch fan
K&N FIPK

Yup, 3900 or so depending is what ive been
told also, you cna drop nearly 150lbs by
removing the tailgate and spare tire assembly
at the track. Once you remove that tailgate, if
you have a tonneau cover, take that off too,
now we're talking weight reduction. Or you
could go as far as Intense and remove
everything but the enginge and the gas pedal.

Thanks! :)

yea, i figure out that it is much faster with out the tailgate and the space tire...i think i had my spare tire stolen! pretty bad when you can't remember if you had it on and if not where you put it! that just shows how much $hit i am working on.... well, i can't figure it out b/c i have the mopar spare tire lock and the little cap that keeps dirt out of the shaft is still there, and the cable is all the way up. can't imagine someone taking the time to do all that for me...

and i had the tailgate off since i didn't have the handle on...

THAT THINGS WAS FAST!!!...well, it'll be slow once i get my hard cover....:( stockland

i wish i had something that i could litterly stip everything out of (dash, inner fenders, bumpers, carpet...everything!) that would be fun... GO intense!!!

My 99 SLT Ext'd cab 4x2 3.9V6 weighs just short of 4,000lbs with me (170lbs) in the cab. I know because I had it weighed to pick up a load of gravel (which was 1200lbs). These Daks do really haul quite well.
