K&N has an air cleaner top/lid that is made of filter material. Looks neat, sounds interesting. But it is too expensive for me.
My 94 Dak has the old style air cleaner housing.
What do y'all think about drilling a few holes in the top, near the edge so the incoming air would still be filtered??

Y not go with a big open element filter?
Thats almsot what ur doing and thats what the cap that k&n makes is for.
