Message: My 94 had a small leak somewhere near the resevoir. I fixed it by pumping out all the fluid and replacing with new, quality fluid. I repeated that several times, after driving several days in between each refill. This made the fluid you can see to look like new. ('cause it was)
I used a small hand operated pump.

Message: some times the high pressure hose will have a small weak area and will leak only when under heavy pressure. Have some one turn the steering wheel with the motor running and warmed up, and watch the high pressure hose

Message: Ditto. I just replaced my high pressure line last week on my '98, 3.9. It was a bear to reach the fittings but at least it was cheap to fix. Hose only cost $16 + the new craftsman open end wrench to fit it :)
