Subject: How about cherry bombs IP: Logged
Message: Right now my '96 3.9l dakota has some unknown brand of performance exhaust. It sounds good in the cab and has a good low tone outside but it's not very loud. I have some cherry bombs lying around, how would those sound? I know they will be loud but will they sound like crap with the V6?

Message: Depends upon what you consider 'crap.' It definitely sounds good, but will be a bit 'buzzy' no matter what you do....however I'm told ANY muffler on the V6 will be buzzy as compared to a V8, due to its odd firing sequence. But it does sound good.
Current mods: A MUFFLER. That's it. (For now.) Future mods: Tonneau cover Underdrive pulleys Removal of clutch fan K&N FIPK 17

Message: I have a 1996 Dakota V6. I was thinking about either putting dual Cherry Bombs(The Originals NOT Generic!) or putting A Single Cherry Bomb that branches out into dual pipes after the single muffler. I don't want a rice burner sound. is the single with dual pipes a good choice or true duals. It has No Cat and could the Cat be the reason for the rice burner sounds on some trucks? Can anyone help me out?

Message: i cut my exhuast off right after the cat and im gonna either gut my cat and put a dual cat back exhuast kinda thing or im gonna cut it apart at the y-pipe and do a true dual exhuast that goes into twin stacks that come out on the right side of the bed
