 Subject: Backfires

I have a 93 Dakota 3.9. right now she will start but has a hard time getting up 3500 rpms. If floored she will almost die. Drove her to work and died (2200 rpms max) then started after 10 minutes. Died on wife and would not restart untill next day. I have changed fuel filter, rotor and cap. Put heat in fuel tank to dry up water if any. Everything looks good but she backfires when trying to go. I am not getting flash codes. I have checked wiring and it looks good. she has been towed home once do not want to do that again. just need to know where to look next.
