Being the owner of a ranger, S10, @ several dakotas I can say i like the dakotas better then the other two.
I use my trucks for the occasional hauling, towing etc.. I got in a wreck with my S10 before getting the ranger and ford was a real pain in my area. The two dakotas I have both engines the 3.9L and 5.2L One is a 92 and 95. The 5.2L runs very good and is a quick truck for the older body style dakotas. My 3.9L is just as reliable both with nearing 200k on them.
