Subject: crazy exhaust setup IP: Logged
Message: I was thinkin of the craziest/ridiculous/wildest, but nicest sounding exhaust possible. Then i thought of this....
Right after the high flow cat weld on a....
single-2.5"In/Dual-2"Out Muffler. Then weld on...
Two Single-2"In/Single-2" Out mufflers. (Dynomax Super turbos of course, they're awesome at producing some sweet low tones)
Then weld on some nice (grapefruit) resonating tips that they use on ricers to make a nice mellow tone (and tuck them up where you cant see the ugly things, HAHA).
Judging from my current Dynomax super turbo...this setup seems possible. Air flow should not be restricted too much (My current exhaust effortlessly shoots air throught it). I believe the result will be a ridiculous sounding truck which'll impress everyone. (Although fake, HAHA)
Does anyone have any feedback, or other crazy exhaust setups/ideas???
Ya, this idea is stupid, but also funny/interesting. If you're looking to bash me for something, I would just like to say shut up i dont care, beforehand. (Sorry to the nice folks...I just hate it when the annoying ones do that, ya know?)

Message: Think the only problem you may have doing this would be clearance issues. There may not be enough room under the truck for all those mufflers.
I say, If it fits and it will make you happy go for it.
Good luck.

Message: If I am reading this right you want to end up with 3 mufflers............there is something terriably wrong with your thought process. There is a reason cars and trucks only have 1 muffler, the vehicle needs to be able to breathe. And a resinating tip? You are how old? Please tell me you are still in high school.

Message: Sounds like a waste of money to me, but let us know how it turns out, Sound/performance/cost. And post some pics.
On the other hand I have a 3 inch Gibson single exhaust and think that it's just a bit to loud, and I was thinking of putting a 2 1/2 inch x 12 inch long glasspack in front of the gibson muffler. Do you all think that this will tone down my exhaust??

Message: HAHAHA. Im 18, and I was just thinkin of the craziest setup i could get for about $200. Clearance would be an issue, but hey.....dont tell me this exhaust wouldnt be crazy as hell. My friend has an old Infinity with 3 mufflers, and he's thinkin of makin a stupid setup until he trades the POS in. That should be fun...HAHAHA.
I also think that this exhaust would breathe very well. I looked at my muffler again and it flows out easily. 3 would be have the equivalent resistance of the stock muffler...
anybody have any further input. I just think this topic is fun to play with.

Message: i think you are the biggest douche in the universe that exhaust woun't have any sound to it (because by stock exhaust on my truck is pretty loud and crapy sounding and when i put my dynomax over it just sound like air no rumble) and it would have way to much back pressure. why don't you try a true duel

Message: I saw a 4 banger Honda with a setup close to my idea, and it had crazy stupid 3/4" pipes at the end. It made me laugh, but the car sounded mean as HECK. It sounded better than most V8's, I kid you not.
It will work...and no 94 Dodge, im not the "douche". I dropped the Dynomax Super Turbo in place of my nice stock muffler, and It makes an impressive sound for any price, and it only costed me $100. My cousin was fooled a few days ago into thinking it was a V8.
Also, true duals on a V6....one word for you 94 Dodge...."Douche". Shut up.

I'd bet dollars to donuts you clowns live in a ghetto part of a major city where no one owns anything bigger then the V6 in your beater truck.

I built an 11 foot spoiler for my truck and drove it to school last year. Everyone loved it, and since most classes weren't doing anything near the end of the year, we took trips to go see it.

V shaped engine, duals make sense. hows it make him a douche that he actually makes sense on wat hes says, you just gotta accept ur not the only one who knows it all man... now, tryin to set up a dual exhaust on a 4 banger or some POS ricer, thats just stupid.

Message: Alec, have you ever heard the term "foot in mouth." Shut up and let it go. How can tou get a new engine for the same price as a dual exhust set up? The most anyone would most likely spend on a dual exhaust set up would be about 300, and that is custom all the way back. A new motor would cost well over 3 grand.
As for the caddy with the quad muffles most likely 2 of them are resionators and even if they are not a caddy with a small block V8 is going to have more then enough power to breathe through that set up.
If you truely build an 11 foot wing for your truck there is something wrong with you. You parents may have dropped you on your head as a child, but I don't know, I don't know your parents. But you obviousaly you are quite damaged and you do not deserve to be driving something as nice as a Dodge and you should promptly trade in you Dakota for a little Civic where you 11 foot spoiler would be respected as hi-class trash. You child, are a douche. Grow up, and be normal. Look both ways before crossing a street, and have fun riding the short yellow school bus............you giant douche.

Message: I made a giant spoiler with my friends one day too, but ours was only about 8 feet. It was so funny, everyone and they're mom was laughing. I cant imagine an 11 foot spoiler. That has to be hilarious. haha. I dont think you can get a new engine for the price of a TRUE dual. You can get a great used motor from the yard for $500, easily. Sorry everyone is beatin on you kid. Some people jsut dont know how to have fun....Have fun with that exhaust setup. I've heard some weird cars riding around, and they're awesome.
