Message: cheaper to find a 4x4
it can be done but the cost will be high,
you need
trans
tranfer case
front housing[gear ratio needs to match rear]
both driveshafts
4x4 shifter and linkage
front cross member
torsion bars
and some odd and end pieces
etc,etc
just a guess,cost $4000-6000

Message: if you have to have a 4x4, then sell your 2wd and buy one..
if you want to improve your traction in snow for about $1000, get an ARB Airlock locking diff. About 95% as effective as 4wd, but way less $ than a conversion...

Message: Powertrax around $450
good snow tires $200
2 5 gal buckets of sand each corner for added
weight and traction by tail gate or like I use
in the full size dodge 2 312 ford intercepter
motor blocks LOL
If you do get stuck just use the sand under tires
to get out
