 Subject: 95 V6 dak distributor pickup wiring

Hi folks. Say I 'm in a bit of a jam, cuz a woodrat chewed up the wiring for the electronic pickup on the distributor of my 95 V6 Dak. There's 3 wires
coming off the harness near the tranny ...
Red
White
Black/Green
... then there *was* a plug couple which the bastard carried away. Then the 3 wires continuing to the distrib are ...

in a flat ribbon.
I expect the center "Black" of the ribbon is probably a ground ???
Does any body have a good enough wiring diagram to give me a hint as to which order they should match up in?? If I can id the ground at the tranny then I have a 50/50 chance on the other 2. Sheesh, I feel like I'm defusing a bomb here ;)

Ok, with my VOM I figured out that the wires on
the tranny are ...
Red - 9v
White - 5v
Black/Green - ground
... with the ign turned on. I'm just worried that if
I get the other 2 backwards I'll blow the pickup sensor itself and be back at ground zero again ...
well worse off really ...

Ok I just went fer it and got it going on the
second try. So here's the final wiring connection in case there's another devil woodrat out there ...
Tranny harness Distributor
Red ----------> Left black ribbon
Black/Green ----------> Middle black ribbon
White ----------> Right black ribbon
If it seems like it wants to catch but won't
then the red and white are backwards.
For prosterity!!
BTW I'm in Tucson and yes the woodrat is still running around here somewhere. Tried to catch him but he ignores the trap. But there's something else ... you see he may have saved my life. This Dak is parked most of the time as I have a 2001 Dak as well. He kept building nests in the engine and fenders, then one day I couldn't start it, found that of all the wires on the truck only the 3 dist sensor wires were eaten. Phetuwee!! that must have tased awful. Began looking under the truck for other damage ... that's when I noticed that the driveshaft center yoke was hangin' by 1 bolt and it only had a couple of threads still in!!! I had taken the truck to a shop to have the DS overhauled about a year before, and *those* bastards didn't tighten it up properly.
I hate to think what might have happened if it had came off while on the freeway going to work.
So the question is ... did the woodrat see the impending disaster and do the only thing he could ... disable the truck???

I know how ya feel
Pocupine got under my hood knocked off my PVI
injecter and the coil wire when I backed the
truck up I hit him and have half a dozen quils
in my right front tire
LOL
Those things will chew through rad hoses up here
for the salt on them
