Message: I own a 92 3.9 with 114,000 miles i rcently had the clutch replaced. Now it is running really crappy, hesitating and backfiring. It seems to run fine when it's cold, but when it warms up it starts to act up. The truck sat for 2-3 months prior to the clutch replacement. I started the engine every week or two and let it run till it was warm. anybody have any suggestions? I replaced the O2 sensor in the spring so that is still fairly new. I double checked all the connections and everything seems ok.
Could there be a problem with the injectors? Or is this one of those things that I just have to fix by the process of elimination? Any help would be greatly appreciated
