Message: Chris- I have '01 V6 and this would be a good 100% fit. Here my email address "garde01@comcast.net". What do you think the labor cost if I have a shop do the installation?

Message: these are a simple 2hr tops bolt on. drop them in and torque to 20-21 ft/lbs. if you can change a tire you can install the harland sharps.

Message: I have 2 daks, I have the Harland Sharp in one dak and the Crower in the other. The Harland sharp's are much easier to install as stated above, no modification needed to the valve covers. I have the crowers in the other dak you must bring each cylinder up to top dead center to install, tightem down till you get zero turning oon the push rod as you move it back and forth with your fingers then 1/2 to 3/4 of turn beyond that on the adjusting nut then using an allen wrench to tighten down the sure-locks. You follow thsame prcedure on each cylinder, then the baffles inside each valve cover must have the baffles "knocked down" about 3/8 of an inch to fit over top of the rockers. The Crowers are more difficult to install. It took about 3hrs for the Crower RR's and about an hour for the Harland Sharps. Are the Harland Sharps better than the Crowers? Thats a question I can't answer yet. I did put 6000 miles on the dak the with HS rr. They were installed on the truck when it had close to 100,000 miles and so far no problems.
92 and 97 Daks both with many mods.

Message: Wadak - How much HP/Torque did you gain after you installed the HS 1.7RR?
My Truck has the following mods: 3" BL, BFG 31x10.5 MTs, JBL headers, Magnaflow single exhaust, Air aid intake, Jet II, AP3923 spar plug, MSD cable and 180 degree thermostat.
Adding this 1.7RR along with the mods I have, how gain would I get? Anyone could give an approximate gain, I would appreciated.
Thanks,
Moe

Message: According to Larry from J and J Auto the 1.7 roller rockers add 15 to 17 hp., definitely a noticeable increase in power.
92 and 97 Daks both with many mods.
