Message: I have a 99' sport, stock wheels.
-Whats the best tires to get?
-My spring tensioner is making a squeling sound and is not keeping the belt tight?
-I have some kind of oil on the back 1/2 of my belt, but have no loss in any fluids. There is some residual on the engine by the alternator. What is this and what do I do?
-Thanks for your help!

Message: Sorry I got no comment on tires. I think sometimes you pay over $100 a tire and they blow or wear too quick, then buy a set of Cheap-o's for $99 - all wheels and they last 35k or more. However, tensioner and idler do make noise and then fail. Replace them yourself, its fun. rent the serpantine tool. Do you have a viscous clutch fan? It may have leaked. Otherwise I reccomend you check the torque on the valve cover bolts, throttle body bolts. If your engine is performing good, don't worry about oil on top, there's places where it will move out onto the top end. To belay any of your fears, do a compression test and/or gasket job. Belly pan gasket is pretty easy to replace. But like I said if the mileage is good, engine is running good, and you aren't adding oil between changes, don't worry.
