Subject: Wheel bearing noisy?
IP: Logged

Message:
When I make a tight left turn going slow, like turning into my driveway, I hear a groaning or whining noise. It's pretty quiet, and it sounds like its coming a front wheel, maybe the bearing. It's not coming from anywhere under the hood. I had a torn cv boot that drained the grease a while ago, so that makes me suspicious, but I had it fixed and they didn't replace the bearing. Is this something I should get checked immediately or is this just the nature of the truck? It's been doing it ever since I got it.

I have seen them so slopy its behond funny

If this is a 4X4 they are sealed and you need to
replace the whole assy around $200 the spindle
and bearing is 1 assy

May as well replace the ball joints at the same
time

Thanks, I guess that's more important than getting a F&B right now. You know, every time I'm saving up for a new performance upgrade, something goes wrong and my money gets diverted. Dammit!
