I have been recently informed that my problem is a bad O2 Sensor but when looking under the hood of my truck i see nothing that looks like the O2 sensor i bought. Any help in locating this would be greatly appreciated

you won't see it under the hood. crawl underneath the truck and look for the catalytic converter. should have one before it and one after it. be careful! right after running the truck the cat and exhaust will be extremely hot.
