Message: Piece of cake. A little carb cleaner and maybe a brass brush. I try not to get any into the IAC motor itself.
If the IAC is dirty enough to need cleaning, you may just want to pull the TB and clean the entire thing.

Message: I agree with both replies...especially removing it to clean it. When I swapped throttle bodies on my Dakota, I cleaned my new one off and it took almost an entire can of carb cleaner to get it nice and clean. If that were on my truck when I did it, I'm sure it'd have needed a new belly pan gasket...and if it didn't it prolly wouldn't have been very clean.

Message: Oh yeah...and don't forget to replace the tb gasket if you take it off. Only costs around $2 for a new one.
