 Subject: tech guys lil help

When my cars idling theres a pulsing sound that kinda sounds like rushing air (exhaust leakish sound) Its light and pulsing and not coming from the exhaust (was one there before someone tried to cut me pipe! and rest is new and checked) Any ideas here?

96 and up DO NOT have EGR.
all of them have a small hose in the front of the throttle body that dries out and cracks and then leaks.
