I have a 96' dakota 3.9L with the 5 speed manual transmission, what's the limit on horsepower before it needs to be relaced with a higher end tranny? I don't exactly wanna blow out this tranny with too much HP.

I would not worrie about that unless you go V8 or
stroke it or use a S/C

the reason I ask is because I'm running a 75 shot of nitrous and have been thinking about installing a turbo running at 8 or so psi.

It will be fine
Greg Dodgeboy runs a 100 shot higher comp and a
very hot cam and his manual holds up fine

hello, i just got a 1988 dodge dakota with the 3.9l
v6 from my dad... i was wondering, are there any
tranny's that will bolt up to the engine, it has the
5 speed manual and it's 4x4...

Tony, any New Venture AX-15 trans should replace it. There were used in quite a few different makes.
