So I went to the track with some buddies and I had $11 for me and my friend(watch is $5 race is $10, PLUS $5 for a helmet) couldn't race!! So there was like 10 minutes left and I made up my mind that there I was gonna race this other Dak that was there, suddenly my friend was like oh, I have $20 u can borrow, so I went down and my other friend that goes there a lot said it wasn't worth it cuz the other races start in like 10 so I could. ANYWAYS, the other dak owner didn't burnout like most, and he "fell asleep" at the tree, he finished with like a 20 sec 1/4 mile. WTF!!! He didn't even know engine size, he said it was the 3.8 or 3.5 LOL right. So anyway, I get my brakes fixed I'm gonna race him cuz he said he is always there.

you have to wear a helmet?!?!
most tracks only require it if you run like less than 13 seconds in the quarter... and 8 in the 1/8th.
(20 seconds! i could beat that in reverse!)

A lot of tracks have started making you wear helmets...all of my friends are always asking to borrow my motorcycle helmets so that they can race.

Carlsbad requires a helmet regardless of how fast you are. They are hard nosed on rollcage requirements too.
