Subject: Splash shield fasteners IP: Logged
Message: Awhile back I had to repair a couple of broken studs for the manifold, I ended up breaking the plastic fasteners(12 all together) holding the splash shield on the passenger side. The local dealer wants 5 dollars a peice for them. I want to know where I can get aftermarket replacements for a lot less. Ive been looking online but cant seem to fing the exact one. I could sure use some help here, thanks.

Message: I had a buddy get me some from the GM dealership he worked at... cost me around $10 for em all.
See if you can find em...I think he said they cost under $2 a piece. Still a freakin fortune, but these are reusable as long as you aren't too rough with removing em. Just uses a screwdriver to pop em open.
