Subject: wipers IP: Logged
Message: my wipers arent working i hear a clicking from the intermiten speed box (delay setting on wipers) but nothing it is not the motor i tried a new one not the problem
any segestions fuses are all good

Message: This may be your problem, worth a try, on the motor mounting plate there are three bolts holding the motor plate on, it is mounted on rubber grommets.
You most likely have a bad ground connection, take a screwdriver while you have the wiper switch turned on, touch the screwdriver from bolt thread to motor mounting plate.
If the wipers run, put a heavy wire braid under one of the nuts to the backing plate.
The same problem happened on my Plymouth Reliant, and my 91' Dakota has a wire on it that someone added.

Message: thanks so much i need them now it snowed last night in M.I. got over three inches it sucked driving home with no wipers ace ventura stile head out window
