Subject: Tune Up Question.........

Message:
I have noticed that a lot of people that post here use a cap & rotor from Napa.Is there any reason that so many people use the Napa brand cap/rotor? Also, what would be a good set of plug wires for a '94 & '02 3.9? I also notice that people use a different thermostat,( than standard) & different plugs. What plug is recommended, performs best, gas mileage wise? Im merely looking for better gas mileage.

Thanks...All replies are appreciated.

Any good quility low resistance wire will work
taylor 8mm
MSD 8.5

The napa mo28 and mo26 cap and rotor the cap has
solid brass incerts and will transfer more volts
to the plugs

If you live where it drops 30 degrees and below
don't go 180 use a reg stant 195 they run 185

Stock truck stock heat range
once you get more mods a colder plug is needed
although some stock trucks run well with the
colder plug they all react a little diff.
