Subject: another roller rocker question IP: Logged
Message: When I was younger and living in chevy-land, we would put 1.6 rockers on the exhaust side and leave the stock 1.5 rockers on the intake-side. This was a great low cost mod to inprove low-end tq. I was wondering if anyone has tried this set-up (1.6's on the intakes & 1.7's on the exhaust) on a Dodge. I wish that I the resourses to try this myself.
If anyone has tried this with success, I'm sure that we'll have many people going 50/50 on the cost of the rocker sets.( hint SoCalDakota, Hughes, KRC)

Message: This has been done in older Mopar circles. Don't see it so much now because the split pattern cams, in effect, do the same thing, and the Magnum heads have a much better flow balance between intake and exhaust than standard LA head designs.
